About the Company
EnerSys is a stored energy systems and technology provider for industrial applications. The company manufactures reserve power and motive power batteries, battery chargers, power equipment, battery accessories and outdoor equipment enclosure systems. Motive power batteries and chargers are utilized in electric forklift trucks and other commercial and industrial electric powered vehicles. Reserve power batteries are used in the telecommunication and utility industries, uninterruptible power supplies, and other applications requiring stored energy systems. These industries include medical, aerospace and defense systems. With the Alpha acquisition, EnerSys expanded its portfolio to become a fully integrated DC power and energy storage system and technology provider for broadband, telecom and energy storage systems. Outdoor equipment enclosure products are utilized in the telecommunication, cable, utility, transportation industries and by government and defense customers. EnerSys provides aftermarket and customer support services to customers from over 100 countries.
