It is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Wabtec manufactures products for locomotives, freight cars and passenger transit vehicles, and builds new locomotives up to 6,000 horsepower (4 MW). It is a Fortune 500 company.The company purchased GE Transportation on February 25, 2019.
