Intratio Desktop
The Intratio portfolio on your own computer, next to your Interactive Brokers account: the tradable universe, the rebalance plan, its execution, the next-day reconciliation and auditable records, all on your machine. Your API key and broker tokens never leave it.
Version 1.9.0: the app is now distributed from intratio.com (Institutional accounts) and updates itself. Settings > Updates shows the current release, downloads it with your API key, verifies it (SHA-256) and installs it on restart; the Today page announces new versions. Your settings, keys and records stay where they are.
What it does
- Syncs your Intratio portfolio, followed names and optimizer settings with your API key, within your daily quota.
- Checks which names are tradable on your IBKR account (CFD listing, short availability) and re-optimizes on that universe.
- Builds the rebalance plan from the positions actually held, with the expected cost of each order, and executes it against IB Gateway or Trader Workstation, paper or live.
- Reconciles every fill against your IBKR statements the next day, and keeps a verifiable record of every decision and trade.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. About 300 MB of disk space; no administrator rights needed.
- An Interactive Brokers account with IB Gateway or Trader Workstation installed and logged in on the same computer (paper or live).
- An Intratio Institutional account and its API key (My Account page).
- Microsoft Edge WebView2, which ships with Windows.
Install
- Download the installer above and open it. The app is published without a code-signing certificate, so Windows SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC” the first time: click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Compare the SHA-256 below with the downloaded file if your policy requires it.
- The app installs for your Windows account only, under your local programs folder, with a Start-menu and a Desktop shortcut.
- Start IB Gateway and log in. Then, in the app, open Settings: store your Intratio API key, choose the gateway port, and connect.
- On a computer where Smart App Control refuses unsigned installers, unzip the portable zip anywhere instead and run “Create shortcuts.cmd” once: it runs only signed Python binaries.
Updates and your data
- The app checks for new versions itself (Settings › Updates), downloads them with your API key, verifies them and installs them on restart. No new download from this page is needed.
- Settings, keys and records stay in your Windows profile, encrypted with Windows DPAPI; they survive updates and the uninstaller.
- The app talks to intratio.com and to your local IB Gateway only. Nothing about your account or your trades is sent anywhere else.
